Make this holiday season extra special with a little DIY magic!
Here’s a fun craft idea you can do with your little ones using items you probably already have at home. It is also a great way to bond with your children and have some family fun time.
🎅 Festive Paper Plate Santa 🎅
What You’ll Need:
- A paper plate
- Cotton balls or shredded paper
- Red and white crayons or markers
- Glue or tape
- Scissors (adult supervision required)
How to Make It:
1️⃣ Create Santa’s Face: Colour the centre of the paper plate pink or peach for Santa’s face.
2️⃣ Add the Hat: Draw and cut a triangle from red paper or colour a red triangle on the plate for Santa’s hat. Glue cotton balls at the tip and bottom for a fluffy effect.
3️⃣ Make the Beard: Glue cotton balls around the bottom edge of the plate to create Santa’s iconic beard.
4️⃣ Add Eyes and a Nose: Draw or glue on the eyes and a little red circle for the nose. Your toddler can even draw funny faces if they want! 🎨
5️⃣ Display Your Masterpiece: Hang your Santa on the wall or use it as part of your table decorations.
🎁 Bonus Idea: Use this craft time to teach your child about shapes (triangle hat, circle nose) and textures (soft cotton balls).
The Best Part? It’s simple, affordable, and full of holiday fun!
