Kick back, relax; enjoy the last day of your week ‘end’
Yaaay! The weekend is almost over! Here’s a list of mom movies to check out and make the first day of the week memorable before work Monday.
So get on your couch, grab a bowl of popcorn or food and let’s go through this list of amazing movies😉.
The first is ‘Moms at War’. It is a Nollywood movie about moms having regular confrontations with each other.
Starring Funke Akindele and Omoni Oboli as next-door neighbours. Their grown-up kids attend the same school within the neighbourhood, and both kids are intelligent plus smart.
Here we see a story of the sacrifices of motherhood, women supporting women, friendship, drunken date nights and a cheating spouse.
The movie tells of a scene where both children compete for a scholarship position, and this triggered occasional brawls and unhealthy rivalry between their moms.
Eventually, they finally unite in the fight to get each child a slot on the scholarship scheme.
Naaa, no more spoilers😋😋. You should see it for yourself.
If you’re a sucker for adventurous movies, then ‘Bad Moms’ is the movie to see *winks*
Bad moms is a Hollywood movie starring Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell.
Amy (Mila Kunis) has a great husband, goal-chasing kids, a beautiful home and a successful career. Seeing that she has it all together, she is almost always overworked, exhausted and ready to snap.
Trust me, this is a great movie to watch because as moms, we can readily relate to this. She teams up with two other stressed-out mothers (Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn) and then we had the bandwagon effect, yeah! and community power, lol. They did several things to get away from their daily life of stress and conventional responsibilities. As the moms go wild with their newfound freedom, they set themselves up for the ultimate showdown with the mom clique. Helping push the word out that Moms deserve a break too.
Both movies have exciting storylines with some humour and crazy too.
While you’re at it, keep the kids close lol.
Which of these movies have you seen? What other mom movies do you recommend? We’ll love to see it too😘
